There are a great deal of additions and updates any individual intimate with the former editions ought to check out. If you are new to the guitar, this book is the maintenance and fix guide than will aid you maintain your investment, and even give you outstanding tips on how to hod-rod, custommake or repair your guitar.

I renovate cheap flee market/garage sale”rescue guitars”And I hotrod guitars for friends+family !Until now,the 2nd edition GPRG has been my bible.The new 3rd edition is amazing + it comes with a DVD.From basic cleaning and set up for do it your selfers ,to modern repair, this book is a MUST HAVE!!!!!If you want to make a cheap guitar play like a million bucks or plainly keep the old (expensive/vintage)work horse working BUY THIS BOOK!!!!! It will save you more $$$ than the books cover price + your guitar will thank you …

Great Book!!!!

This is an magnificent book. It covers basic to modern selective information on a fix as well as outstanding explanations on how to do the repair. I have repaired guitars for years, but had gone away from it for a while. This was a outstanding refresher on a great deal of measurements and fine points I had forgotten the specifics of.
