I renovate cheap flee market/garage sale”rescue guitars”And I hotrod guitars for friends+family !Until now,the 2nd edition GPRG has been my bible.The new 3rd edition is amazing + it comes with a DVD.From basic cleaning and set up for do it your selfers ,to modern repair, this book is a MUST HAVE!!!!!If you want to make a cheap guitar play like a million bucks or plainly keep the old (expensive/vintage)work horse working BUY THIS BOOK!!!!! It will save you more $$$ than the books cover price + your guitar will thank you …

This is an magnificent book. It covers basic to modern selective information on a fix as well as outstanding explanations on how to do the repair. I have repaired guitars for years, but had gone away from it for a while. This was a outstanding refresher on a great deal of measurements and fine points I had forgotten the specifics of.
