Basswood Body With Beveled Top Basswood provides a warmer tone than maple and other hardwoods, along with outstanding low-end response, and is overall a lightweight wood.
The notorious Warlock body shape requires no introduction, and looks outstanding in shiny black.
Beveled Top Most of B.C. Rich body styles utilize a beveled edge around the shape. In galore ways bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at dissimilar angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look. Some of the B.C. Rich top bevels are uttermost and wide while others are subtle and narrow. Occasionally the shape of the instrument is accented by painting the bevels a contrasting color.
Bolt-on Neck Construction A number of B.C. Rich guitars use a classic bolt-on construction. On these instruments the neck is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers galore added flexibleness in the instruments adjustment and provides the option of altering the neck in the future.
The Warlock bass features a maple neck with an ultra-playable satin finish, and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays.
24 frets means access to a few extra notes, with a full two octaves on each string–and the deep cutaway means you may actually access them.
B.C. Rich Bass Pickups All B.C. Rich imported bass guitars are equipped with either passive or active EQ B.C. Rich bass pickups. These factory B.C. Rich pickups give a good solid response throughout the bass spectrum eliminating not wanted muddy undertones. The center detent tone pots give the player a wider range of sweeping tone control to provide the greatest or most complete or best possible low end clarity and power.
Hardware The Warlock features a stop adaptable tailpiece, for getting proper intonation. The chrome diecast tuners offer solid tuning, and feature a chrome finish to match the bridge and volume/tone control knobs.

One of the best By Michael J. Brister This was one of the introductory basses I ever owned, and I may rather frankly say it was one of the best. It had stellar looks with a powerful meaty sound. It always turned heads, it was a monster. It had low action and I had it tuned down to C and it kept in tune always. It handled everthing I could do to it, as well as others. One of the best made basses around.

ROCKIN’ bass with the Warlock from BC Rich! By Tad Sharpe Its the eleventh in my collection, I have schecters (omen 4 and studio-8), a dimarzio upgraded fender fretless jazz bass, cort 5 string, Dean 9, a peavey BXP, a habit five string fretless gull wing habit bass from D Guitars Miami, Gretsch Electromatic Junior, and a few others. I LOVE the sound of this bass, it is deep but still has the bright overtones. I had thought of swapping out the pickup but the stock ones from BC Rich sound actually good.
After I adjusted the action to my standards, this baby sings, it rocks, it rolls, it crashes, it dives, it screams, it does subsonics, it smashes the senses, WITHOUT any stompboxes…. with my behringer fuzz box, it was brittle sufficient for metal and industrial… I employed my Hartke bass attack pedal and THINGS came out of it, numerous not controllable but rather inspiring…. my MXR EL Grande distortion pedal gave it MOJO! major mojo to rattle windows for blocks around, WOW!
overall, it is a great bass! I got it in PRISTINE shape from Elderly instruments, they always have their inventory is magnificent shape.
I play all my basses in the various cds I record and this WARLOCK From BC RICH is an splendid passive bass, a distinct voice, nice!
